Communication Methods and Associated Risks
Text Messaging (SMS):
NSBH may send appointment-related text messages. By opting in, you acknowledge that SMS is not a secure method. To opt-out, reply STOP.
Email:
We use secure systems like TheraNest for reminders. Unencrypted email communication carries risks. By initiating email contact, you accept these risks.
Data Collection and Protection
Forms submitted through our website are powered by JotForm, a HIPAA-compliant platform. We collect basic contact and health information to follow up on care requests.
Our website is hosted on Wix.com, which may collect general analytics. These cookies do not collect personal health information.
We use encryption, secure servers, and access controls to protect your data.
Third Parties and Business Associates
We work with trusted service providers (e.g., Wix, JotForm, TheraNest) under Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) to ensure they protect your information in accordance with HIPAA.

We retain client health records for at least 7 years, in compliance with applicable laws.
