David’s therapeutic experience builds upon nearly 20 years in pastoral work, crisis care in conflict zones, and work as a Spiritual Director. He holds two Master’s degrees: Clinical Mental Health from Concordia University and Conflict Transformation from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. He is completing his EMDR training.
David uses a generative, strengths-based approach to help clients build resiliency while they adjust to life’s challenges. His passion is integrating spiritual formation and interpersonal neurobiology, forming a creative partnership with his clients as they understand and heal from past hurts, identify and process present stressors, and discover their strength to live “fully alive.”
David specializes in treating adults, first responders, humanitarian crisis personnel, young adults, couples, and those employed in helping professions. He has experience working with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, spiritual abuse, betrayal, trauma, and addiction and those who are pursuing personal growth and in significant life transitions.
