Equine Assisted Psychotherapy
EAGALA stands for Equine-Assisted Growth and Learning Association

What is the
EAGALA Method?
Eagala is a brief model of equine-assisted psychotherapy. The model is informed by solution-focused and narrative therapies, meaning, each clients’ story unfolds as patterns of behavior emerge and solutions come to light as clients explored desired outcomes and how to achieve them utilizing real-time feedback from the horse and human interaction.

Confessional Communities
These are small groups of men and women who gather weekly to share their stories, and learn to tell their stories more truly. Our Communities are led by skilled clinicians who are trained in group psychotherapy, the principles of Interpersonal Neurobiology, and Christian Spiritual Formation. We offer short-term and long-term Communities. We work with our clients to assess the best fit for their needs.
